Aeneus Flees Troy by Barocci (classic mythic print)

This work is by Federico Fiori Barocci of Urbino who was one of the greatest artistic representatives of the Counter-Reformation movement. His work was highly favored by the emperor Rudolf II. This work is taken from Greco-Roman mythology and depicts the ancestor of the Romans, fleeing his native city Troy with his father on his back. This work was completed in 1598 and is presently in the Galleria Borghese in Rome.
