A reproduction of a work by Eugene Delacroix, "Liberty Leading the People". This Romantic masterpiece attempts to capture the concept that Liberty herself is the motivation for the uprising of the People against Opression. Delacroix places himself in the tradition of Michelangelo and Rubens. The artist died in 1863 at the age of sixty-five years.
