In the Mid-time (classic male canvas art print)
This is a reproduction of Thomas EakinsÂ’ "In the Mid-time", also known as "Between Rounds". Thomas Eakins was born in Philadelphia in 1844 and studied under Jean-Leon Gerome. He became fascinated by photography and bought his first camera in 1880. He began to photograph models and then use the photographs in creating his paintings. In this paintings the American Realist master has captured the moment between rounds in a boxing match of nineteenth century America. The original is in a private collection.
