Biglin Brothers Racing (classic male art print)

This is a reproduction of Thomas Eakins’ 1872 masterpiece "The Biglin Brothers Racking". Thomas Eakins was born in Philadelphia in 1844 and studied under Jean-Leon Gerome. This work predates Eakins’ fascination with photography. Eakins is often described as the father of American painting and his works are intensely realistic. He died in 1916.
