La Discussion politique (classic male art print)

This is a reproduction of Emile Friant’s "La Discussion politique" of 1889. Emile Friant was fond of depicting everyday French peasants in their routine pastimes. He died in 1932 at the age of sixty-nine years. This work represents the French interest, sometimes bordering on an obsession with the political furors of their nation. Some things never change. The original is in a private collection.
