Glasgow Docks by Grimshaw (classic male art print)
This is a reproduction of John Atkinson Grimshaws "Glasgow Docks" of approximately 1872. Grimshaw left his railroad occupation in 1861 when he was 25 years old to become a full-time painter. His success gradually increased and he became a patron of the Leeds City Art Gallery and died in 1893. Grimshaw specialized in urban contemporary scenes which did not suppress the choking atmosphere of early industrial Britain. This wonderful image is a perfect example of Grimshaws works of industrial Britain
