After the Swim by H. Harvey (classic male art print)

This is a reproduction of Harold Harvey’s "After the Swim" of 1906. Harvey was a Newlyn artist of the Modernist School, the only one born near the sea. His informal style is the hallmark of the Newlyn colony which included Henry Scott Tuke and others. Harvey’s work has a softer impression than others of the Newlyn Colony and this image is a perfect example of this. The artist died in 1941 at the age of 67 years.
